SSL Certificates

How important is the safety of your websites data to you?

The answer should (hopefully) be very, and if it is you should consider adding an SSL certificate.

An SSL certificate establishes a secure connection between your user’s web browser and your site server. This protects important information like passwords and credit card details by adding a layer of encryption when the data is sent.

By showing that you have a valid SSL certificate, you instantly instil a level of trustworthiness and legitimacy with your website users. The will clearly see your site is secure in the URL bar. Although a great addition to any site, this is especially important for sites which offer e commerce and/or user login areas where personal information is stored.

Another benefit is that Google recognise sites with an SSL certificate and will reward this with a higher ranking in SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages), making it an important consideration for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).

Overall, an SSL certificate means that a more secure site is rewarded with higher Google visibility and more customer trust, which means more users and the potential for more business.

We can add an SSL certificate to your site for just £25 (+VAT) per year.
